It is time to put the people first and make government do its job for us--the people, our children, our families, our communities, and our future.
The Minnesota Senate needs new leaders that will meet the people’s needs and bold leadership to tackle the long-term challenges of the future to ensure a sustainable and self-sufficient Minnesota.
The Oath of Office
Anyone elected to public office takes an oath to uphold and support the Constitution of the United States. The Preamble of the Constitution states the following:
We the People in order to...
• Form a more perfect union,
• Establish justice,
• Insure domestic tranquility,
• Provide for the common defense,
• Promote the general welfare,
• Secure the blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our posterity
do ordain and establish this Constitution of the United States of America.
These are the duties of your elected representatives.
When the elected do not fulfill these duties, it is time to vote for someone who will.
