Georgia needs pragmatic policy not political ideology. Last year the citizens of District 109 had the opportunity to elect a business Republican or a right wing ideologue.
Rep. Steve Davis is a good man who has done the best he could for the citizens of this district. But his re-election in 2008 was a great example of the broken political system in action--where the two party system perpetuates career politicians and ideological extremes at expense of good policy that represents the positions of citizens and puts a priority on the pragmatic center that gets things done.

I'm just a guy that loads trucks for a living. I don't have all the answers for how we address the challenges we face. But I do have the ideas, energy, and passion needed to shake things up at the Gold Dome. I do share a common agenda with citizens all over district 109, Henry County, and across the State. I do believe that together we can find solutions to the problems facing this state so that Government works for, not against, the interests of its citizens.
I'm running for office because I believe nothing will change unless everyday citizens stand up and say enough.
That’s why I announced last May 2009 that I would be running for the Georgia State House of Representatives here in district 109.
I began my campaign over 500 days before November of 2010 because I refuse to sit back and do nothing. Together we can get this state headed in the right direction again!

The Website is a work in progress... please pardon the construction! Also you can follow my personal blog at www.JimNichols4.com.
For more info or questions about anything I have yet to address on the site please call or email me. Voters deserve quality candidates that are open and honest with citizens about their agenda and priorities as a Representative.
Hold me accountable for meeting those standards. Together we can do great things for our community, county, and state! |
